Latest Update: 2028 Mitsubishi ASX Hybrid is said to launch in late 2027, range between $24,000 to $32,000.

The 2028 Mitsubishi ASX Hybrid formally ditches the "rebranded" look with a bottom-up redesign that’s all Mitsubishi. This isn’t always just a facelift; it’s a whole new beast developed in-house to take on the heavy hitters within the electrified SUV global. Moving away from common European systems, Mitsubishi is making a compact crossover that brings its legendary robustness to hybrid technology with a powertrain designed for real-world efficiency and snap.

The big news is under the hood, with the ASX expected to borrow some intense technology from its bigger brethren. While the specifics are still under wraps, the focus is on a "plug-free" complete hybrid that delivers the gas-sipping benefits of an EV without ever having to invent a charging station. Drawing on years of PHEV know-how, this new setup is designed to deliver clean, quiet fuel efficiency, therefore fuel efficiency over time short and a bit long

Inside, there is a change to space as well as the dedicated Mitsubishi structural method and a layout specifically tailored for global drivers. Expect a cabin that prioritizes ruggedness and smart technology, offering next-generation infotainment gadgets and the MI-PILOT safety package to keep things stress-free.
