Latest Update: Audi TT Special Edition arrived in November 2023, around the price range of $77,000.
Bid farewell to the Audi TT? Not just yet! Buckle up as we embark on a journey into the world of this iconic sports car. Spain is where the action is unfolding, with a limited run of 25 individually numbered coupes set to commemorate a remarkable 25 years of TT production. This legendary car, originally introduced in 1998, was born from the Frankfurt Motor Show’s namesake concept back in 1995.
Underneath its sleek exterior lies the heart of a beast, based on the 45 TFSI Quattro variant. This means it packs a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine, specially tuned to unleash 245 horsepower, channeled through an agile all-wheel-drive system via a swift seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The result? A heart-racing sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a mere 5.1 seconds, culminating in an electronically restrained top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
Resplendent in Nogaro Blue, this special TT edition offers you the choice of Tango Red or Glacier White paint as well. With tinted windows and the S Line Competition Packages, the TT flaunts striking black 20-inch Audi Sport wheels adorned with a mesmerizing 10 Y-spoke design, coupled with eye-catching red brake calipers. Venture inside, and you’ll be greeted with a lavish interior, tastefully accented with a combination of leather and Alcantara, complete with red or blue contrasting stitching that complements the car’s exterior.
But that’s not all – this exclusive TT from Spain comes loaded with standard features. From the embrace of the S sports seats to the grip of the flat-bottomed steering wheel, this car leaves nothing to be desired. It even boasts decorative carbon inserts and offers the latest tech wizardry, featuring the Audi Virtual Cockpit and dazzling matrix LED headlights. This exquisite piece of machinery will be available for €72,800 when it hits the market in November.
This celebration comes a year after Audi marked the TT’s 25th anniversary with the Iconic Edition, a limited-run RS model decked out exclusively in Nardo Grey. With only 100 units produced, all destined for European markets, including the elusive right-hand-drive ones, the United States missed out on this occasion. However, Audi did announce that 2024 would be the TT’s final model year.
