KIA Sonet 2024 Price in United Kingdom is GBP 11,352 ( US$15,550 )

Anticipate a sneak peek at the 2024 Kia Sonet’s fresh face this December, just as we bid farewell to the year 2023. Industry whispers suggest that the prices for this compact SUV will be unveiled early next year, marking the first substantial update for the Sonet since its debut in August 2020. Let’s delve into what the 2024 Kia Sonet has in store for us.

The forthcoming Sonet facelift is set to flaunt revamped exteriors, starting with a facelifted front fascia boasting a redesigned grille, a new headlight arrangement, and updated daytime running lights and fog lamps. As anticipated, the 2024 Sonet will showcase a fresh set of alloy wheels, new plastic body panels, connected LED rear lamps, and a reimagined tailgate.

While the details surrounding the 2024 Sonet’s interior remain shrouded in mystery, early reports suggest it will feature a new upholstery color combination, an upgraded infotainment system, and a digital instrument console. Expect the Sonet’s cabin to undergo a transformation with updated switches, control panels, and an overall revamped dashboard design.

Under the hood, the 2024 Sonet will uphold its current lineup of engines and transmissions. The base variants will be propelled by the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine, delivering 82bhp and 115Nm, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, the 1-litre turbo engine will make a return, producing 118bhp and 172Nm, with transmission options including a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and a 6-speed clutchless manual.

The diesel variant will maintain a 114bhp 1.5-litre engine, generating 250Nm, with the choice between a 6-speed clutchless manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

True to the Kia legacy, the Sonet will prioritize safety features, with the 2024 version expected to come standard with six airbags. For those opting for the top-tier trims, an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite akin to the Hyundai Venue might be on the table. Buckle up as the 2024 Kia Sonet promises not just a facelift but a technologically advanced and aesthetically refreshed driving experience.
