When Ram Trucks unveiled its 2025 Ram 1500 REV in February 2023, details about the electric pickup were scarce. However, the company has now released the juicy technical specs, revealing that the 1500 REV has an impressive maximum range of 500 miles.

The truck boasts a powerful 654-horsepower engine and can produce up to 620 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to reach 60 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds. It also has a towing capacity of 14,000 pounds and a payload of up to 2,700 pounds. With a water-fording depth of up to 24 inches, the 1500 REV is designed for tough terrain.

Under the hood, the 1500 REV features two 250-kilowatt electric drive modules, one at each axle, which combine the motor, gearbox, and inverter into a single unit. The front module can disconnect and let the wheels spin freely to improve efficiency in certain situations, while the rear module includes an electronic-locking rear differential.

The 1500 REV is available with two batteries: a standard 168-kilowatt-hour battery that provides an estimated range of 350 miles, and an optional 229-kWh battery that extends the range to a whopping 500 miles. Ram also teases an XR trim with an even longer range.

The truck supports 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kilowatts, which can add 110 miles of range in just 10 minutes. The system also supports vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-home, and vehicle-to-grid bi-directional charging. Additionally, the truck has an onboard power hookup that can provide up to 7.2 kilowatts, and a plug in the front trunk that offers 3.6 kilowatts.

The Ram 1500 REV rides on an active-leveling air suspension with adaptive dampers and a multi-link, independent rear suspension. Drivers can choose from five suspension modes: Entry/Exit, Aero, Normal, Off-Road 1, and Off-Road 2, although Ram has not yet disclosed the differences between the settings. The truck also features 22-inch diameter 275/50 Pirelli Scorpion all-season tires.

Inside the cabin, the 1500 REV is packed with tech features, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an up to 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 10.25-inch passenger display. Other available amenities include a digital rearview mirror and a 10.0-inch head-up display. The truck is available in five trim levels, from the base Tradesman to the luxurious Tungsten, which features a 23-speaker Klipsch stereo, power tailgate, Indigo/Sea Salt interior upholstery, suede headliner, and metal trim.
