Audi is presenting four concept vehicles, rather than just one, which showcases potential design concepts. We’ve seen three so far, and now we know when the final "sphere" idea will be released. The Audi Activesphere coupe-SUV concept will finally be revealed to the public on January 26. Make sure you mark your calendars accordingly.

We will have to make do with a brand-new teaser image until then, which shows the vehicle largely obscured by darkness. This active-lifestyle concept’s swooping roofline and flared fenders can be better captured by adjusting the photo lighting levels. A glass roof and stylized rear deck can be seen, giving us a look inside as well. There are no specifics to determine, but passengers will be concerned about whatever is going on in the cabin.

The automaker claims that the idea represents "ultimate freedom" for outdoor enthusiasts. Its sporty, sleek shape is offset by the extreme off-road capability provided by its aggressive all-terrain tires and raised suspension. It is entirely electric, just like the previous concepts in this series. However, Audi has yet to provide additional information regarding the powertrain.

In August, we experienced the Activesphere for the first time. The concept, which was shrouded in darkness, was presented by Audi in a quarter-length front view. To get a better understanding of the automaker’s design direction, we digitally lifted a portion of the veil by manipulating light, just like we did with the new teaser.

In August 2021, Audi unveiled the Skysphere, the first in a series of concepts. As the name recommends, it’s a roofless two-entryway EV sports vehicle with a long hood and a movable wheelbase intended for both open to visiting, and corner-cutting tomfoolery. In September 2021, the Grandsphere concept was unveiled. It was an elegant electric sedan that Audi referred to as a "private jet for the road," and it shared some of the Skysphere’s design features. The Urbansphere debuted a few more months later, offering a very different concept in the form of a minivan with a very big cabin.

As part of Audi’s "Celebration of Progress," the Activesphere concept will be shown off on January 26. However, additional teasers are likely to be released before the big reveal.
