Renault Clio 2024

The Ford Fiesta will be shockingly discontinued this year, and Volkswagen has suggested that the Polo’s days may be numbered as a result of upcoming Euro 7 regulations. Renault, on the other hand, is determined to keep its B-segment hatchback, and new spy shots show that the Clio will get a facelift in 2023 that should last three to four years. During this time, one of our car photographers came across the disguised prototype that was being tested somewhere in France.

The black-and-white swirl pattern effectively fools us into thinking that the 2024 Clio will be the same as before. On the other hand, a car that was not disguised was recently observed during a photo shoot, and the front LED light signature had undergone significant modifications. The spy video, which is attached below, presumably shows an Esprite Alpine with vertical daytime running lights that extend down onto the bumper, similar to Peugeot or DS Automobiles.

Renault is planning some changes at the back, including new LED graphics on the taillights and a wider license plate recess on the redesigned bumper. On non-performance vehicles, the majority of manufacturers typically conceal the exhaust tip under the bumper; however, this does not appear to be the case with the 2024 Clio. It actually stands out more than it should, probably because the French manufacturer was testing a novel engine feature.

Even though our agents were unable to enter the cabin, we can see that Renault took the time to conceal the dashboard. It suggests that some changes will be made, but since this is just a facelift, there probably won’t be much to write home about. Due to the decline in demand for ICE subcompact hatchbacks caused by the rise of crossovers and electric vehicles, it is not financially feasible to make significant investments in a mid-cycle update.

The launch of an identical Mitsubishi Colt this fall will coincide with the 2024 Renault Clio facelift. Joining the Captur rebadged as an ASX, the "new" seal will be worked by the organization with the precious stone logo and will acquire the electric powertrain from the Clio E-Tech Cross breed. It will be made in Bursa, Turkey, the same place where the Clio is made.
