A small crossover that was being tested has been captured in new spy photos, and the design suggests that it is most likely a new Fiat. Although it initially resembles the Fiat 500X, the automaker discontinued it at the end of last year. This vehicle is novel and distinctive.

The Fiat 600, a small crossover, continues to wear a camouflage wrap that fits tightly. While the round headlights are visible, this conceals the Fiat’s styling details. With its slanted hatch and short hood, the crossover’s overall shape is reminiscent of the brand’s philosophy.

The car’s interior is not visible in these new spy photos, but it was visible in earlier ones. The digital instrument cluster is surrounded by a round bezel and is located next to a large, rectangular infotainment display.

It is said that the new Fiat and the Jeep Avenger are related. Stellantis’ second-generation CMP architecture, which is used in a number of Stellantis-owned brands’ models, will power the 600. Due to the fact that the 500X name will be dropped, it is also unknown what Fiat will call it.

Similar to Stellantis’ other electric offerings, Fiat is likely to offer an electric version of the model with a front-mounted electric motor producing 154 horsepower. The car has stickers that say it has a lithium-ion battery inside, but it could also be a hybrid setup.

A gasoline engine option might not completely disappear if an electric powertrain is included. Fiat may offer a gas-powered variant in some markets, similar to the Avenger. The new 600 could be powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
